In August 2010, as the recession gripped Florida, my girlfriend and I packed four suitcases and boarded a plane for South Korea. Two weeks later, we were officially English teachers in the Korean public school system. This blog chronicles our new life in a foreign country, capturing the cultural differences, the cultural similarities, the festivals, nightlife and, of course, what it’s like to teach English in South Korea.
